I can not wait for the first video of your Vantage to drop. As for ideas of what to do with it, I really hope you have the opportunity to take it on a long distance road trip. It's one of the classic GT's and that thing looks like it wants to just tear through beautiful European roads all day long.

Great informative video. I really don’t like the front lights. The rear are beautiful. Surely between them they could have come up with a nicer design for the front lights ?

Is it me, or are the angles of the logo on the passenger's seat and the logo on the backseats, significantly unaligned (i.e. the right side of the logo on the back is higher than the left, and vice versa on the front seat)?

Amazing car! LOVE the design, it is stunning and timeless like the DB9 was when it came out. The engine being a AMG is a wise choice in terms of reliability and performance. Saving the cost on R&D is a key factor in keeping the cars price competitive in the Super sports car segment -well done!

Outside of the Vulcan and a select few of the V12s, engines have always been a source of disappointment for Aston's. AMG-sourced propulsion is a welcome addition, in my eyes.

It does look like a Miata but it’s a nice car.

My God is it ugly…. opinion yes… but I am one who most definitely falls in the "normal" category, and what I think looks good, usually means the masses also think the same… and vice-versa… If I say it's ugly, means the masses are also thinking that way. Oh the life of being a "normal" person…LoL… It is ugly in the same way 1960's Citroen's were ugly, but you just could not stop looking at them, while you try and work out how they ended with such an odd design. Really though, this car is just an ugly Mercedes. A car company who does not have it's own power plant, is a soulless company… Aston Martin and Lotus come to mind as the main culprits. They are just a fancy form of "kit cars".

Koenigsegg would probably be the main exception… Christian has given his cars a soul with such splendid design.

Well i think thats one hell of a car, its sooooo nice in almost every aspekt! I am excited about the manual, how it will compare to the manual GT3, that will be the only cars in the segment sadly.. (gt cars with manual). Downside: navi is really dated.. without it would be better!

Dear J…Love your reviews, but to be honest that engine exhaust sound is really ugly, the car sounds like a harley davidson or a KTM 4 stroke bike, the response at low rpm is pretty slow too as far as what i hear from the video and the torque in track mode too violent late and badly mapped…..I wish to add that the car looks fabulous but the front end is not of next generation front end designs where you have a much higher hood and front grille and the optics are very poor, overall the front end apart a couple of creases on the hood is the same as a mazda miata…..last thing i wish to say is that people are not gonna buy German cars like these anymore…..and i highly suspect that even the british market customers are kind of fed up with germans buying out all their car brands…so a imminent dramatic fall in sales for Land Rover, Jaguar, Aston Martin and Bentley has already began…..it is sad to see The Glorious UK cars gone forever and have volkswagen overall build quality and size

F1 was born in England. The best private F1 teams are in the UK. So I guess that the british shoul build the best supercars. McLaren is the best british supercar builder, Aston the best british GT builder.

I'm loving the B-roll, but not quite as much as the car that's in the shots 😉 I agree with you on the exhausts, the dual tips look a bit lost in the back compared to quad tips.

Great vid, please make sure you get the quad exhaust…can't believe AM have offered a new Vantage with such a bland looking exhaust as standard.

Aston Martin should supply an after market accessory to mask that hideously ugly front end and at least give the appearance of a proper Aston Martin front end. Who in this day and age junks a ready made globally known 'trade mark' like the Aston Martin front end/grill and replaces in with a Maxda MX5 front end? Who ever it was needs sacking and a very hard slap.
