I have the same problem, do I absolutely need the same part code? the references change from model to model. I have exactly the same problem and it drains my battery. 1k0959703F L05 is the reference that VW gave me but I have difficulty finding second-hand parts. I was thinking of coding via vcds. golf 5 r32

Found this video last night and ordered the driver door and driver side rear door window actuator modules for my 2008 that I recently bought. It was in an accident in 2021 and the shop that did the repair did a TERRIBLE job on reinstalling the wiring harnesses in both doors. I can only assume the modules and lock actuators were both damaged in the accident. I replaced the driver door lock actuator so at least I can lock the door manually. Hopeful that with the replacement of the window regulator modules I will be able to restore the key fob to work with the car! Fingers crossed!! Great video and I'll follow up once I receive the modules and install them! Cheers!
