Check your alternator, my old bmw had a bad alternator and sometimes it would hesitate to start up and other times it wouldnt even start

Check the battery, coil packs, starter.
Don't forget to register your battery. Specially since it's a bigger one.

It’s great to see the E92 getting some more attention now haha keep it up.
Based on my experience on the E60 I had, when the alternator was not alright it would not charge the battery at all, my brother had to constantly boost me along the way until we got home.
Maybe check to see whether the starter is also in good nick.
Are you guys planning on retrofitting the LCI taillights on the E92 ?
Get a m sport lip and high kick rear spoiler for the e92 it really transforms the car #e92 gang
Might be the starter to its in the back of the intake manifold
Your battery might have a dead cell I just had the same problem with my 2007 530i
Look for a Indy shop to register the battery
check the starter you would be surprised, i had a 2007 328i with 68k miles and the car would start sometimes sometimes it wouldn't and i thought it was the battery the whole time and kept replacing the wires and battery over and over and nothing helped. then i took out the starter and turned out it was cracked a bit and i replaced it and everything was perfect. its a easy to do job try it its not but like 120 for one.
Boy I’m late! Man California is picky about cars. You need to find a guy who turns a blind eye. Possibly the starter? It’s a common problem on these cars. But definitely register the battery.
Starter on my 328 slowly died that’s probably your problem. Not that hard of a fix
