Found a stable solution thanks to LeeC2202! I can move forward implementing this fully in Manual Transmission now.
Third-person animations look great, albeit a bit «buzzy» (visible at the start).
Don’t mind the early cut, I crashed afterwards. Still need to git gud.

Oh wow this is amazing, now just need to put the hands in a natural position. It always looked off in GTA V, but I assume that's because it was never intended to be in the game when it first came out.

i just got the game running again after endless issues with rockstar social club and radeon 5700 bluescreens.
Sick driving man! Wish I could also drift using wheels(I have but I suck). I know my racing lines tho and pretty quick on a track. btw nice progress on the mod, keep it up!
someone please send this to rockstar and tell them this is what we want not 90 degrees
