Glock design is so simple and owns lots of patents that Sig and Honor Guard and M&P don't want to pay. Ruger American pistol is similar design as Sig P320 and Honor Guard pistol, but Ruger American pistol has that same Glock trigger safe is on their trigger. I'm sure Ruger had to pay for that trigger patent. M&P uses their own inferior hinge trigger design so don't have to pay for that Glock patent.

Here's how the dingus works. When the firearm is dropped there is an acceleration applied to both the dingus and trigger at exactly the same time. This causes the the back of the dingus to catch the frame because both pieces move rearward together. When you use your finger to pull the trigger you first pull the dingus and then the trigger. This causes the dingus to hinge and clear the frame.
I have a comment somewhere, I called this out when that person did a review on it. Prob Sootches channel.
