Hey, you should put on zip ties in those holes, until you find the bolts..
Go LED for the DRL's/halos and go HID for the main headlight. High beams you can keep the halogens or go LED as well. But definitely go for HID's for the main light as they are still better (for now) than the aftermarket LED bulbs and will give you a HUGE upgrade over halogen.

I know first hand “White” bulbs are never white, you have to go with LED lights or upgrade to xenox bulbs and get a ballast hooked up. I have LEDs running on my truck with no issue for the same cost of what you spent on the phillips. My F30 is running stock xenox

If you want white bulbs h7 so buy only bulbs from Farenheit h7 55W.

The headlights are depo headlights.(aftermarket) Halogen but with a projector housing (oem are reflector) and with the angel eyes drl's (only oem xenon and led have those). Look and quality wise its the same. It just lets you have projectors and angel eyes without having to do the expensive xenon retrofit which cost thousands and requires coding. This is plug and play.
You actually do not need to start the car to put it into neutral. There is a 5mm Allan screw on the transmission under the car. If you tighten that screw the car will manually go into neutral.

do i need resistors when installing depo ights ? the shop i dropped my car off promised me that it would be done in 1 day, but now they are keeping my car over the weekend because they said "its more complicated than we thought" anothr issue is that when they isntalled the lights and tested it, they told me that the casing for the headlights was running very hot.

Any recommendations on how to get the bulbs to a white colour? hopefully its possible to use some types of LED's without causing problems
