Excellent! Job Laura! Question: When having a major vibration at top speed, and when slowing down (to about 40mp), the vibration go’s away, could that also indicate that you have a bad CV joint? That’s of course having a grinding sound whenever you turn the corner.
Fantastic Video. Thorough coverage from start to finish. I'd spray a little brake cleaner on the rotor to get that CV grease off before remounting the wheel, but it's not essential. Did you leave your ABS sensor alone? No problems, right?
I am currently getting the correct tools together for this same job. It's important to have a quality triple square and 17mm allen; stripped bolts = ruined day.
Excellent video, I'm having a problem getting the bolts loose from the inner boot. any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I did the passenger side already and i switched to allen bolts instead of those easily stripped triple square bolts
Video was very helpful. One thing I found that makes it much easier to remove the axle once it is unbolted, is to jack up the suspension which allows the transmission end of the shaft to slide below the transmission. Then there is no wrestling and sweating needed to remove it.
