Do you know how to reset the light?
I replace Rotors and Pads and received error still. Replace both brake pad sensors again with Mercedes brand sensors and error has not went away. Removed and cleaned where they plug in and still no luck. Does anyone have any ideas where to look next. 2007 E550 4Matic. Thank you!
Can you just remove the sensor if you replaced the pads and it’s still giving the error? I could care less about a sensor
Can you put any brakes on a Benz or do they have to be from Mercedes… Also are calipers expensive?

I replaced all of my brakes and reconnected new sensors and installed them all correctly yet it still gives me the light.
Having the same check break wear light, despite replacing both rotar and pads in the front. Is there away to reset using a tool. Going to the same mechanic to see what happens

I had my pads changed but my sensor was never change. Could this stop the vehicle from driving ? yess my brake pad wear sign was still on.

I have a "Check Brake Wear" message in the display. But the pads are almost new. There are no brake wear sensors on this vehicle. Any ideas what can trig this message? Its a W204, C200 CDI.

Hello, interesting video, thank you, I just want to ask, is it necessary to reset the electronics or if all the sensors are in order, the light goes out
How do you reset the light on the dashboard? I replaced the sensor and the brake pads, but the lights on dash still on.
Great video, but as a former sparky, I feel it's my responsibility to say that you were measuring 130,000 ohms across the old sensor, not 130 ohms (see the "k" on the meter). Both would indicate a bad sensor, but I doubt you'd ever see a bad sensor that's less than many thousand ohms.
My pads were still showing lots of material. They were not even close to the hole where the wear sensor spike inserts. The spike on the wear sensor had wire exposed even though there was no plastic worn away by the discs. This must have triggered the warning. Not sure why. Perhaps this sensor was moving up and down which wore away the plastic and exposed the wire. I changed to new pads since I bought them, but had I checked this first I could have just replaced the sensor. My Brake Pad Wear light re-set itself after driving a few miles.
Guys ive faced this 2 times and usually with c class when u get brake pad wear… its usually rear ones go bad on those cars
