Brilliant video mate. This is by far and away my favourite video that you've done on you're channel. I'm an enormous fan of Mercedes Benz & AMG, The AMG's are my favourite performance cars on Earth & to me they are unbelievably special, I love them all so much. Big fan of Elliot as well, he is awesome. If you can, I'd love to see you drive the AMG GT R on the road & see what you think, I've seen it and I love it. Look forward to more AMG content from you in future videos mate!

I own a C63 and I have honestly never been happier in a car. I own the previous generation (naturally aspirated V8). It's such a fun car and I am sold on AMG's for the rest of my life!

To me when Mercedes bought AMG they tamed the brand. Before AMG was a brand about outrageous performance and pure exhilaration that's why Horacio pagani went to them first for a engine when he decided to built the Zonda. I think what they do today with Mercedes is less than half of what they are capable

Why don't you consider picking up a Bentley Supersports? It was on your '5 Cars I Would Consider Buying at Geneva' video; and it's a great choice. Fastest 2+2 Coupe or Convertible in the world; super luxurious! Why does Bentley get no love? None of the top 'car youtubers' have one.

I have bought a AMG GT for 1 year and it has been absolutly insane , practicality and drinving are sublime
Wish they would go back to a proper multi-piston caliper in the rear. A single piston floating that you'd find in a Prius is inexcusable.

James, can you tell me if you were about to buy a convertable daily, which would you spend your money on.., the GTC or a V10 + ? I am in that very dilemma, so your help would be great.
Well, way late to this party…last three cars were Ferrari 458 Italia, Lamborghini Huracan 610-4 Coupe and a McLaren 650S Spider. Picking up my 2018 AMG GT C Convertible next week! Full of anticipation and hopefully will not be disappointed. Road Atlanta here I come! If it tops my 650S on that course I'll be astonished. 130 mph on the short straight and 150 on the long back one… 1m 35sec best run. It's not the car, it's that I can't mentally keep up with much more speed than that!
