So the EV range is much lower at high speeds? Maybe the winter road conditions contribute to this and early commutes on cold mornings?
Thank you for a great insight on the consumption 3.8 L/100km is great. The Kia Niro PHEV is 399.000 SEK here witch I think is great value
What kind of app were you using?
Hi, great video, but 1 question : if you drive most at 50 km and some short runs, why you didn't bought a fully Electric car like Hyundai Ioniq Electric with the same money. Because you can do long trip also.
Interesting to see your good videos.
I've been very close to buying a Niro PHEV. Due to some of the disadvantages you have pointed out, I ended up buying a Golf GTE. I've just got it. Could be interesting to compare the two cars in practice. I live in Rantzausminde, so …?
What is your app called? If I hear correctly, it calculates that 24.94 km / l corresponds to 3.86 l / 100 km. This calculation is incorrect. 24.94 l / km is the same as 4.01 l / 100km. It is still a good result — but a bad app.
You are telling, that you drive without gasoline on your small city tours. So this is without heating the cabin? You are always dressed warmly on your nice videos 😉
Like your videos. Hi, I’m Peter and have my first KIA – The New 2017 Niro PHEV. Had it for 45 days and have done just 725 miles of local mileage only, mainly in EV mode. Very pleased with the economy. Getting 97 miles/gallon that is 6p/mile for petrol plus 3p/mile for charging (a mixture of day and off- peak-overnight charging). This total cost of 9p/mile compares to 14p/mile for my previous VW Diesel with local mileage. A saving of 5p/mile which if upheld for my usual 10,000 annual mileage could mean a saving of £500 per year on fuel costs! However, I have yet to do a long (motorway) journey to find how much the fuel economy will drop. I’m off to the Outer Hebrides, Scotland soon – a 1,500-mile return trip for me and so that will be a good test for both economy and public charging opportunities.
Got the car recently. Your videos helped.
That's pretty awesome mileage.. that works out to 56.4MPG USA gallons.
Love your videos.. keep up the good work.
