Advice on 87 Shadow? Runs GREAT cold. But as she warms up she fluctuates from 500 RPM to 3000 RPM. Then she starts losing power until theres so little power she stalls. Wait 10 minutes and she runs ok the same process over and over. Let her sit for a couple hours runs great again?

I dont have an air pressure gauge. This video didnt help me determine if the float needle or seat are bad.
Top notch pro approach to the problem and excellent explanation and video of the repair. I've been working on my own stuff for 40 years and never thought of this!
Now that was good stuff. Only video that I watched out of ten carb videos that gave actual diagnosis and information with value.

Great info…i have three carbs on my boat outboard motor, and one is flooding bad…I just regasketed them, but I wasn't aware that the needle o ring could allow fuel to pass through if not correct.. I'm betting i follow your advise and the problem gets fixed.
