In todays video i will be installing a new Audi RS3 water pump on my car! unfortunately Audi RS3’s and TTRS’s are know for leaking coolant. Over time the coolant overflow reservoir will begin to get lower, sometimes so low that you get a coolant warning light on the dash! common signs as well is the smell of sweet in the engine bay or a dry whitish/pinkish residue on the left side of the engine all the way down to even the belly pan on the car. the best was to tell is to remove the belly pan and look for signs of coolant. In todays video i will show you how i removed and installed my Auid RS3 water pump. Hopefully this helps because i could not find any good videos online on how to do it! I believe this is a very similar process for the pre facelift Audi RS3, TTRS, and RSQ3 and even the facelift 2017-2023 audi RS3, TTRS, and RSQ3! Hope this helps! Just want to say "THANK YOU" for making this video. The video and information re spot on. Just finished my water pump swap on my 2018 TTRS and the process went just like your video! I even went and bought the $10 kit at Walmart. LOL Definitely straight forward and lots of steps, but not technically difficult. 10/10 and ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars! for your video of swapping water pump and nothing left out.

i hate transversal engines my waterpump 1.8 longitudinal replaced so easy only removed the water tank few hoses all bolts visible so easy this one of your hell no

My normal Engine temp is around 212 F or 100 Celcius
At $180 p/hr US, that over 11 hrs labor in their quote!?

A tip with limited space and torx or triple square bits… put a rachet spanner on them. You're welcome.

Also, that cardboard bolt planner thingy is quite nify; first time I'm seing this king of approach and I find it really smart and simple.

I have a 24 rs3 with a "mysterious leak", not visible or findable. Maybe UV dye will show me where its at but for educational purposes I am learning how to do all this. Thanks!
