E90 IS BACK!! BMW GAVE ME A LIST OF PROBLEMS (PPI)

I took my car to Bmw for a diagnostics too see if it was my water pump that truly went out like all of you guys said. Turns out it was, but there is also a list of leaks that my car has, that ill try fixing myself so look forward to seeing some repairs soon. It is drivable but I won’t drive it more than an hour till I fix a few gasket. Love you guys and ill talk to you all in my next video 🙂

  1. Your valve cover gasket is not a head gasket. God damn. You are not educated on cars

  2. Anal Anal:

I have an E90 320i and just recently had to pay $2500 (AU) to fix an oil leak in valve stem seals. It's bad lol.

  3. Get a second opinion, a lot of stuff you mention isn't that expensive, you have just been the victim of rip off bmw dealers.

  4. Dude it's a lemon, it's obvious the vehicle was used and abused.

  5. Bro your car isn't bad. All this is ware & tare which no car can escape.

  6. The waterpump and thermostat is not hard to replace on the car. I’ve done it on a 335i with xdrive which is a bit tighter in space but still possible & i saved about $800 & bought the pump and thermostat from FCP which has lifetime warranty

  7. I replaced water pump and thermo for under 300.

  8. Hi Buddy  , I will give you an advice since I have been a mechanic since I was 13 years old and I own a E90 2008 bought it new I'm 50 now, at 13 I did my first rebuild engine  on a VW super Beatle, My Bimmer has 110,700 miles and I love this car ,I'm a Quality Control Inspector on a Refinery for the past 10 years ,I just did the valve cover gasket change 3 days a go , took me 4 hours and I spend less than 100 dollars in parts , watching your videos Im pretty sure won't be a problem for you doing it your self, but my advice is if you don't have fix any oil leaks on your engine don't mess with anything , this dealerships all they want is make tons of money for simple stuff , a 900 hundred dollar to change a valve cover gasket is a ripoff its a joke. so don't worry for all the stuff they wrote on that paper if your car is running with any issues don't sweat it, I just watch your video about the trans jerk i have the same issue before when the car was under warranty , I took it to the dealer they did a software up date and that was it. I'm pretty sure thats the problem, good luck and enjoy your Bimmer .Take care.

  9. Dam dude…i really feel your energy…. im on my 3rd bmw now….and my first was exactly like yours…lots of replacement not a lot of money and time….fortunately i was mechanical and had a do it yourself attitude..you will do fine!!! i say this because its not beyond your reach to do this work…it can be done…..it will take having patience and some research to get it running properly and since you know what your issues are next thing is having the resources available to execute the repairs….BMW Fanatic is a winning resource to begin with as well.

  10. I recommend you get a manual for repairs just to repair the valve cover gasket is big job for someone like you, your valve cover is completely different than your head gasket. But make sure you take off the eccentric shaft motor properly or you will cause major damage to the eccentric shaft. I've also done two oil pans on these cars and it's an all day job and if you don't have the right tools than just forget it dude.

  11. My BMW is a 2006 330i is that the same as your car

  12. 6:46 A bit late but your Valve Cover Gasket and Head Gasket are two different things! Please research those properly! Valve Cover Gasket replacement is not that hard but the Head Gasket would require a professional and involves taking most of the top end of the engine apart! Very expensive!

  13. Didn’t know that BMW inspection was that affordable! I’m going to do it soon! Thank you! Thumbs up of course!

  14. Did you have check engine lights or anything on the dash telling you of these issues? Did you notice anything other than the transmission you mentioned? The E90 is supposed to be lifetime trans fluid. Ive heard of dealers NOT performing a trans fluid change unless a noticeable issue. There is no reason your trans should have any issues. Unless as a few here have mentioned, the car was abused. I bought a 2006 330i a year ago and have not a single problem and I use as a daily. I had a dealer check out my key fob and the car was very well kept and regular service checks. No major failures and garage kept- or out here the BMW emblem would be scorched and faded out here in California sun. I really feel for you bro and admire your willingness to do yourself. Family and work obligations prevent me from doing this stuff myself, but am good at researching and know the dealers are sham artists.

  15. Thumbs up for honesty on next buyer….

  16. Fuck the dealership rip offs half of this stuff doesn't need to replace, tranny pan, coolant tank can just take out and give it a clean up

  17. Stay away from dealership. I just got my valve cover completely replaced from my own machanic and including new valve cover and labor it cost me only 600. Yeah most places would be at least 1000 to 1500 if lucky. Do it yourself or find your own person

  18. Order from fcp euro. Could of gotten water pump with thermostat included for like $400 and had someone do it for 300 max.. fcp euro is the place to get all your parts

  19. Bro FCP Euro. Your dealership or parts people are killing you

  20. just because its a Bmw dealer, does not mean they know their car.
I have a friend who work at a Bmw dealership as a heavy duty technician and all he does every day is break customers car parts and make them paid extras. hahaha.

  21. You can do the overflow tank, oil filter housing gasket and head gasket yourself, easily. Coolant hoses you can do. What you should have bmw do: the oil pan gasket and the thrust bushings. Those are nearly impossible jobs without a lift.

  22. These are all routine repairs for the e90 and frankly once repaired you’ll have a great machine for another 60-120k more miles.

  23. I don’t know your exact model but here some pricing I got from ECS. Oil filter housing $298, water pump & thermostat $377. Go to https://www.ecstuning.com/b-assembled-by-ecs-parts/performance-water-pump-and-thermostat-kit/11517586925kt9/ You can save a lot by getting the parts and installing with help from DIY’s on YouTube.

  24. Going to sell my Bmw after watching this video

  25. my BMW 330xi has 158thousands miles and got the 4by4 lights, took it to the mechanic and quoted me 6 thousands dollars for the same issues. I am doing alot myself so im saving money

  26. VALVE COVER AND HEAD GASKET ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT THINGS. HEAD GASKET IT BETWEEN BLOCK AND HEAD, THE VALVE COVER IT HEAD AND VALVE COVER. IT STOPS OIL LEAKS ONLY.

  27. Valve cover gasket is not a head gasket wtf big dislike lol on vid

  28. Dealerships are only good for oem parts and pointing out problems.

  29. There is a reason why BMW lose their value faster after 4 years that's why because the maintenance and the repairs cost a lot let me tell you I bought my 328xi for $12,000 I already spend on it $10,000 pay attention don't go to the dealer to do any repairs buy the parts and I recommend using RockAuto it's a website and you could get all the parts for cheap price after you get the parts you have to decide are you going to do the repairs by your self or you have somebody our mechanic is not going to ask that much I recommend first thing you have to take care of is the gasket valve cover trust me I got the same Rapport you got and I was desperate but I finally the cars are running like a champ did everything on it don't give up like for me I didn't customized anything on the pill because I want to take care of the mechanic stuff first because if I customize it and something goes wrong with the mechanic stuff the car sitting so make sure you take care of the mechanic stuff then you start customizing your car
