Debian Automatic Install

Just an example of an automatic (preseeded) network boot Debian install. No instructions here to do it, but you can take a look at the following pages if you want more information:

https://wiki.debian.org/PXEBootInstall
https://wiki.debian.org/DebianInstaller/Preseed

(and yes, I sort of fail miserably at logging in at the end)

Random Q&A section:

Q: Why?
A: It makes setting up Debian VMs (for testing stuff, mostly) easier.

Q: Why not just use a pre-made disk image?
A: This is faster, takes up less space, and is always up-to-date.

Q: How does it download so fast?
A: I have a local Debian mirror on my network.

Q: What OSes are we looking at here?
A: Debian sid on the host, Debian stretch (or really, whatever’s «testing» at the time) as the guest.

Q: What hypervisor is this?
A: libvirt’s virt-manager, with QEMU as the backend.

Q: And you made a video of this /why/?
A: Because I could (heh), and to show somebody that was interested in this.
