This is a short video showing how to quickly fix the “Misfire cylinder 1 error code P0301. This problem will cause the yellow engine management light to come on and your car will be running very rough with no power.
This video shows you how to FIX and diagnose this common problem yourself with no special tools. The same process works for error codes P0302, P0303, P0304 which correspond to cylinders 2,3 and 4 respectively.
It is OK to drive your car short distances with this error code, but you need to fix the problem as soon as possible to avoid damaging the engine.
This particular problem happened on a friend’s 2003 VW Polo FSI but the same FIX applies to many other makes and models.
