DO NOT use brake cleaner on a throttle body.. There is a Throttle bottle CLEANER. there are chemicals in it and carb cleaner that will eat O rings and seals inside the throttle body
What's the symptoms in car cause I have a 10 GMC Terrain with power steering, brakes lights and no power also doesn't start easy and appears more lights I think is the engine computer but no sure if u can help I appreciate
I have heard that soaking these electronic throttle bodies in cleaner will seap into the electronic components through the flap hinge over time and will cause the failure to occur again. Its a simple fix that lasted you 6 months so in one perspective, it worked.

you did a crappy job I use a tooth brush to scrub the carbon and real throttle body cleaner

unfortunately guys that did not fix the problem six months later I had the exact same problem and I end up replacing the whole throttle body
Throttle body only or all the sensors as well? Did you use a gm replacement or an aftermarket. Just had the same problem yesterday
