  7. Would be curious how some one like me with iRacing would do this on lime rock. Already knowing the track. Would you have to much in the head and fail hard (some how I think this will happen) Or will you use that advandce good and do it easier than other people (this I would more hope for ofc :P)

  9. "Even though you're racing the other guy, you never stop racing the race track". That's exactly how I see it! It's my car against the race track, if I can wield the race track to perfection, then I have more chances of beating the other guy.

  12. Greatest advice about braking in this video: "even though you're racing the other guy, you never stop racing the racetrack". This usually happens when you are in overtaking mode, and you tend to loose focus on the track itself and pay more attention to the guy next to you…

  13. Why in the world wouldn't you trail brake on a public road? It will keep your weight transfer balanced and give you more traction vs slip angle on the track and off.

  14. But what happens when after threshold braking you are already at the speed to take the corner, trail braking seems counter intuitive then.
    I find myself braking later to still be able to trail brake and I just end up overshooting the corner.

  15. made my first turn using threshold then trail braking techniques and it was awesome. total control.
