It's really simple if you have a bike ride it ,a car drive it.
I have CTECH 7002 and it has damaged three of my batteries so far
these have to be good, they are from Sweden
Ctek battery indicators are dodgy. It will indicate your battery needs charging when in fact it is fully charged. Ctek chargers are good but the accesories are questionable. Ctek connectors are junk. If your into RC models..Cut the connectors off and solder on XT60 connectors which are good for 60 amps. 10 pairs of AMASS conectors can be bought for 8 dollars. All these charger manufacturers use proprietary connectors which are the pitfalls of these well engineered chargers. Alot of RC chargers have high tech algorithms, high current capability, and can charge any type of batteries with any number of cells for less than 100 dollars. The RC hobby has gone totally electric and the technology and value is worth looking at if your bored or curious.

If this is so great why do cars charge with old technology? Voltage drops below 13.5 volts, the regulator will apply current to the field and the alternator will start charging. When the voltage exceeds 14.5 volts, the regulator will stop supplying voltage to the field and the alternator will stop charging.

I just returned a 25 amp ctek it didn’t seem to work right from new now 8 months later it doesn’t work at all and at $250.00 it’s not exactly cheap glad I got my money back thanks Amazon

One thing to be aware most (but not all) smart chargers need manually reset if the power goes down. Maintanance chargers that cycle on and off automatically are safer and better for the battery than float chargers. Most smart chargers won't even attempt to charge a completely flat battery. In Euro the discount stores Lidl and Aldi often have discounted specials on good smart chargers.

I just buy a heavy commercial battery charger that autozone and many service center, dealerships use and that works fine. Best $800 investment I have made. I love wheeling it around.
