need same video for a2 is it the same?
As a mobile mechanic for 30 year you don't need to take the front bumper off at all just take the wheel.off and the half inner wing and you can get to the pump from underneath
What year A3?
Did your car have a fault code? My a3 says electrical fault in circuit but i'm not sure it's the pump or the electrical circuit
After watching this and a bunch of other video and doing it myself I must say that you can 100% access the pump by removing only the fog light. Theres plenty of room to get to it from there. Good advice on the grommet, that sucks dick that you pushed it in. The plastic trim removal tools from Autozone make taking the trim off much easier without breaking it. I had ripped wires, bad pump and clogged jets. My fuses were both good. Good luck everyone. 2011 A3 Quattro.
Great Video. On my A3 convertible (LHD) I only removed my fog light cover and fog light and I could remove/replace through this hole. Might be worthwhile to check before you start. Mine is fixed! (it did help a lot that due to this video I didn't have to go grommet hunting)
surely you can do this by removing the inner arch trim
