Anybody who buys one of these is an amateur camper, but a world class spender. Cook your food over a campfire, sleep in a tent, take a crap in the woods. Really camp for Gods sake.
This guy is a perfect example of someone who is reaching their target customer at all. The majority of people who are going to do something like this are not going to be in the market to spend 100K. I hope they didnt invest to much money into their idea.

This is for people that have lots of money and just want a nice cool toy to take out camping, nothing wrong with that. For people like me, the reality is that you won't find anything this refined for 10-20 grand lol. Best bet is to find a used van in good shape and make a camper van that suits you or hire someone to do it.

Wow, or a serious 4×4 plus a big 8 man tent and all the appliances (or a campfire and a pan). Boom 15K and all feature are better except comfort. Unless you count capability of offloading being way better in a Range Rover or 4Runner. Cool for an old dude. With age get a cage.

I completely agree…this camper van is way overpriced! And for those that think it's not, well, you're not thinking "out-side-the-box" enough in creating your own camper van/tiny home! You could buy a brand new shelled utility van for 25k-30k and putting another 5k-10k in DIY work or 15k-20k working with a respectable contractor. The majority of these "pre-made" camper vans (and RVs) that I've seen are made out of cheap looking materials with horrible design flaws. I get it…most people cannot be bothered with designing and/or building their own camper vans. However, if it's going to be my "home" or "home-away-from-home" I would take the time and effort to do it right! Even if you could afford the Sprinter, one could spend that money so much more wisely than this overprice piece of junk!

If a person purchases a used Ford cargo van for around $16k and methodically takes the time to slowly build it into a camper van they'd be much happier overall.
If you purchase the right materials and go about it slowly you'll have a camper van that'll suit your needs to a 'T' and be a beautiful thing to behold.
I spent 18mths building mine out and I am really happy with it. It is insulated and has cork flooring and bamboo walls/cabinets. It took a lot of blood, sweat and beers…but it's a masterpiece. Outdoor shower, solar, removable toilet, aftermarket (almost) bullet proof windows…you can't break the windows with a sledgehammer (yes, I'm serious). All leather and a beautiful Harmon/Kardon sound system.
I spent 2000 hrs on it and another $20k…so $36k for the materials. If you were paying me $25. an hour to work on it that'd be another $50k…$86k in all and it's flawless… with all wheel drive to boot!
I'm now working on a boat.
There are much better vans for the money………very over priced
there is a girl on u-tube with a sprinter that has a shower on it, self contained. I am sure it cost way less than this machine
start a part time business that involves some travel to remote locations, make at least $20,000 a year, write off the entire cost of this vehicle in 6 years.
