Still a beautiful car! My father owned last gen Audi 100 (the first A6 looked exactly the same) with the 2.8 174hp engine, it was a great car. After that he had the 80 B4 2.8. That one was even faster! Both were quattro too! Great cars. Silly fuel consumption tho.
I had the same A6 2.4, but Avant 2002. I bought it for a very low price. It was good, but old car in poor condition. Soon i understood that it needed to repair absolutely everything! But this car gave a big driving pleasure and has a really timeless design!

Very good 6-cylinder sound.
Always amazes me how you nowadays basically get the same acceleration figures out of a 1.0l 3cylinder engine with much less consumption, and even the usable space inside f.e. a skoda scala is not that much less — but the refinement and built quality of those old audis still more than holds up. if you can find a good one (getting rare) its still a good buy.
