  1. Another good sermon!!!! thanks for posting 🙂

  2. ok this video just made me nervous..im 25 and slept with several women..i try and not to commit sin as much as possible…but women and things of the like i am having a EXTREME struggle with…i am born again..but by this video you are telling me god is going to judge me? now im extremely frightened that im going to burn in hell…i really dont know what to do..in todays world and being a young man its nearly impossible to not do these things.i know its wrong..but its EXTREMElY hard..some1 reply

  3. We all have our weakness in one way or another but we are to abstain from fornication. Stay far away from situations that will make you sin, protect your eyes (tv,pornetc) You will become soiled by friends/family who think these actions are ok. Repent and ask him to help you with your struggle, He will clean you up, He loves you. Read all of your bible…. your armour is inside of it, ask Him to help you put it on, He will lead you. Stay close to Him. When weak, read, meditate on His word. GBU

  4. Rage, if you are truly saved then you can't go to hell. If you are unsure on what salvation is then watch his sermons on Romans 3 and 4. Also watch his soul winning demonstration video.

  5. jesus says, i am the way, the truth, the light..no one goes to the father except through me..when you remember that he died for you, so you wouldnt have to bare you sins..if you have repented, ask god to forgive you, and you never done it again, then you will be fine..once you ask god for forgiveness, that sin is wipe from his sight, it doesnt exists anymore..just remember to talk to god, ask him to give you strength.. remember were all sinners, but with gods help, we can do the right thing..

  6. If you once have believed on Christ, to get to Heaven, you HAVE eternal life (John 6:47) and can never lose that gift again (John 10:27-28, Hebrews 13:5). All your sins, past, present and future:

Psalm 103:12: "As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us."

All your sins are paid for.

    cont….

  7. …cont.

If u still worry about it:

Just confess it to God & move on, He (as your Heavenly Father respects admitting & confessing).

    And then just:

Philippians 3:13: "…forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,"

When Pastor Anderson says, he is judging the sin (in the Christian's life), he means that God chastens the believer, if he just continues comitting sin.

    …cont….

  8. …cont.

God deals with us as sons & daughters & chastens us:

Hebrews 12:6: "For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth."

That doesn't mean u go to Hell.

To deal with lust & the flesh just read the Word alot. And memorize & apply verses as these when temptations arise:

James 1:15: "Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death."

    Also: Galatians 5:16, 1 John 2:15 & Psalm 101:3

    Hope this helps.

  9. thanks for all the replies..i know what it means to be born again and i am..i only found this channel a week ago..until then i been watching mike hoggard videos but he doesnt put out enough videos..i just didnt understand when he said..god will judge you..i thought it meant even if you are born again when you die god will judge you for that sin because its so bad…

  10. sorry im just confused..pastor says " you can go out and murder someone but if you are born again you are still going to heaven"..so in that case why not just go and have sex with as many women as you want? otherwise if you try to refrain from it you are now relying on "works" which the bible clearly says not to do..dont get me wrong i think the sin i do is disgusting and vile and feel disgusting after..but i just need to clear things up with this..its really contradicting and confusing

  11. thank you and yes i have been born again for awhile now…when i first got saved my life was a living hell…prior to being saved my life was also a living hell..it still kinda is..but it seems things have eased up somewhat.

  12. Ok.

None of us are good enough to go to Heaven so it's ALL by grace and nothing else. All sins had to paid for us to go to Heaven, because we constantly fall short. It's because we have the flesh and our spirit is dead before we are saved (when the spirit is quickened).

Rom 6:1: "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? v.2: God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?"

  13. Ephesians 2:10: "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."

God ordained for all who would believe & be saved that they SHOULD do good works (not to get to Heaven though, because that cannot be earned).

By doing good works you'll earn rewards in Heaven (1 Corinthians 3:8) & even blessings in this life.

By sinning & abiding in the flesh you'll get chastening & be punished in this life (Hebrews 12:6).

  14. There is a judgment for the saved:

2 Corinthians 5:10: "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."

It's about what rewards, also read 1 Corinthians chapter 3.

We should care what kind of lives we live, because we should want to get other people saved and earn rewards and blessings. Our sins only bring misery. We all reap what we sow.

    God bless

  15. I want to thank you Pastor Anderson for making your sermons freely available on the net. There are not too many preachers like yourself left and that is a shame. If only I had received an upbringing with the constant reinforcement of Biblical truths I could have fled or stood on God's word in many instances which not bring me remorse(since becoming saved). I am single and praise God for that because a relationship where the man doesn't know and follow the Lord is doomed for failure.

  16. This passage has brought me great comfort and I all I seek now is to be thoroughly furnished unto all good works and if that includes marriage, Hallelujah. If not, God's grace is sufficient.

  17. thanks everyone for all the replies. appreciate that.

  18. Great sermon. I hope to get married soon. I will remember this sermon.

  19. Listened for the 2nd time…great sermon!

  20. A dilemma becoming more and more common is getting married and then the spouse loses sexual interest in the other spouse

  21. Go watch this sermon please…. "Sinning Ignorantly v. Sinning Willfully" Baptist Sermon preached by Pastor Steven

  22. This was AWESOME… The church needs this type of teaching!!!!

  23. I recommend changing the title of this video to 1 Corinthians 7:1-2 (or something similar.  You agree with this as well in the video at 54:48.

I listened specifically for verse 15.  Not a waste of time, excellent teaching, but I have a lot of time on my hands, as well.  This retitling would help others.

May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you and protect you.

  24. Great sermon, even though I wish the last half of the chapter had been covered.

  25. I agree that this chapter talks about being single as a calling from God, as something noble. I have never read the other Scriptures as requiring a Pastor to be married. Does that mean that as soon as his wife dies, he must step down as a Pastor and he cannot resume until he re-marries? Really? Some of what Paul says in the letters is simply cultural — it is directed solely at the church the letter was addressing. Matthew 19 also speaks about being single. It is odd indeed to preach on 1 Corinthians 7 and spend so much time and energy talking about getting married. This chapter is addressed to all those who never find the right person, divorced people who cannot re-marry, asexual people, homosexual people who have no desire for the opposite sex, people with severe disabilities. For such people Jesus is a great model in that our Lord chose to be single all His life. 'due benevolence' means sexual intercourse — I would never have thought of these words meaning that. It's just an example of how archaic the KJV can be. Modern translations into English are far clearer e.g. 'marital duty' in the NIV or 'conjugal rights' in the RSV or 'fulfil duty' and 'satisfy each others' needs' in the Good News Bible or 'what each has a right to expect'. This is a verse where modern versions give a clearer translation just as faithful to the original as is the KJV. Blessings to all, David

  26. There couples in Baptist churches that, if lucky even practice this chapter.  Most pastors don't even preach 1 Corin 7.  This is totally avoid at all cost!

  27. Pastor Steven Anderson's preaching is so full of good teachings; they're very Biblical, and prudent indeed.

  28. 10:25 52 yr old, never-been-married here. "Just get married" hahahahahahahahhahahhhahahahahhahahahahahahhahahhahahahhahahahhahhahhahahahahhahahhahahahahhahhahahahahhahahhahahahahhahahahahhahhahahhahhahahhahahahhahhahahhahhahhahahhahahhahhahahhahhahahahhahhahhah…oh man, I'm crying
