Update: I spoke with Alek from Zyltech and he was actually really nice and understood that I actually had an issue with the rolls. He said that with the 10 packs it’s more likely that if you get a bad spool all the spools will be bad because it would have come from the same batch.
They are refunding the 10 rolls that we have left here and I will do a follow-up on their filament once I get 2 more rolls from them to test on a non-critical printer here.
Their service is good and that is appreciated, especially since its budget filament. He said it’s about a 2% failure rate on their filament and that I feel isn’t terrible considering the price.
Hopefully no one else has as large of an issue as I have in the future but they did try to make it right and are making it right within reason. I’ll post another update once

Wow! Bummer, I have been using their PETG for 3 rolls now and its been perfect and prints well. I just got my first roll of their PLA tho. I have 10 rolls of PETG sitting here in different colors and it prints great Tim FWIW. Guess I am glad I only got 1 or 2 rolls of PLA just to try this last shipment I think I bought a wood roll as well
I've only used 1 silver, 2 black and 2 white rolls of their filament on my stock CR-10 and never had an issue, great prints, just as good as Hatchbox. Sucks to hear they are having QC issues. I hope they get it resolved. I bought 10 rolls on black Friday and have not cracked them open yet. Now I'm concerned. I guess I'll need to keep an extra eye on those prints when I use that filament. Thanks for giving us the heads up Tim.
Had the same problem with this brand
Never had a single issue using Zyltech filament off eBay on my six professional production printers. Stopped ordering from them about two months ago because they increased the price per spool. Hope it's just a bad batch for you and others and not a more serious problem with their production quality decreasing. There are plenty of other distributors though. Here's hoping they refund you.

When I use a filament oiler, even with just a drop or 2 on the sponge I greet adhesion issues, with oil coming out of the nozzle. Any recommendations?

Some of those Facebook groups are a bit fanboyish. You say one thing bad about something they love and they think you are the problem because their precious product could never have the problems you experience.
