I’ve never understood why technicians «reuse» crush washers intentionally. With a little bit of planning ahead on inventory insurance, you will not have to even consider reusing as an option. Same goes for oil, coolant, and drains.

A: NUMBER 1…..GET DIRTY and start wrenching.

-Find a seasoned craftsman to mentor under
-Tech schools can significantly speed this time up
-Research, read, watch YouTube videos
Tip: You will never learn it all from one source or in a short time period. No matter what craft you are trying to master, YOU must be dedicated and put the time in. THERE IS NO BETTER WAY TO LEARN THAN DOING! I will say it again, you must actually do the work to master it. You cannot just watch or read about it and master anything.
You want to be a master bike builder, mechanic, welder, nurse, carpenter or you fill in the blank?
-Don’t take for granted opportunities to learn deeper
-Be humble and seek advice
-Be intentional with your learning plan
-Don’t blame a school, job or your parents for not giving you ever answer, go get it!

Excellent video. Maintaining "bench stock" is vital to efficient shop operation and avoiding back orders. The clear plastic Flambeau and Plano fishing tackle boxes sold at Walmart are made in USA, cost only a few bucks, have removable dividers, are shallow enough to fit most tool boxes and are ideal for bench stock like hardware and wiring supplies.
I also use them for hardware organisation during disassembly.

Where did you find 10 washers for a buck?
whats up, so i replaced my caliper and it was leaking from the washer, replaced the washers and it was still leaking took the caliper back, replaced caliper and washers agian and its still leaking from the damn washer.. Do these washers have to go on a certain way I see one side is flat and the other side has a roundness to it.. NOT a motor bike, 91 civic thanks
