IN todays video we work on a vauxhall vivaro — reversing camera installation. Amongst this we managed to fit a 2kw diesel heater, side step and USB socket for the customer. With the diesel heater we have used a t piece and tapped in to the fuel return line of the vehicle, this saves using a separate fuel tank.

Nice, we did the same on my Trafic, used a wire coat hanger to feed it down the rear door panel and then through the flexi conduit, found the wiring loom and tapped into it right where the conduit brings the cables into the van. Also ran the live for the monitor from the back too to save taking the headliner down as the cables were long enough
This vid is great thank you! I'm nearly there with mine, but I just wondered how you isolated the white cable in the passenger footwell?
I have a Nissan Primastar where did you get the step from
Where did you get the step from
Brilliant video again, one question have you ever changed the gear stick knob
Hi not very good with electrics is the fuse needed or can I just solder a 3 way power supply?
Hi
Where did you get the camera kit from? Thank you
Hiya, when you did this did you put both power and reverse detection wire o to this? I've tried finding the correct reverse wire but it's not any of the normal colours at the front.
Did you disconnect the battery for all of this installing the wiring etc
Ok but why turns on only when you put the gear on reverse? Wouldn't it be better to be always on?
2:12 Top tip 1: I didn't need to take off the top light cluster I was able to feed some TV coax cable, which is stiff allowing yo to push it, through that rubber ducting into the van. Top tip 2: I sprayed the cable with some cooking oil and it slid in nicely and never played hard to get. 🙂
Hi can I talk to you if you are taking on vans to fit one of these camera I’ve already brought one but want someone to fit
Of the white wires by the fuse box, how did you work out which wire was the reverse wire? I have several white wires. A really fat one and a few other smaller ones. Many thanks.
