Nissan vq30de
Nissan RB series??
all fucking boat anchors
On the first engine; like a lot of past great, durable and simpler engines, this one will die out because of Government imposed fuel economy and emission regulations.
Mighty mouse engines dont impress me.
where is Nissan RB26,SR20,VQ
this list is soooo fucked and why is all these You Tubers " especially new ones " play bullshit music like they all got hit in the head with same BBC dildos ? where is RB, Honda B series, small block Chevy, small block Ford, VQ, EJ, and so on and so on, but fucking Alfa made it?
What kind of car is that at the 3:15 mark?
where is hyundai?
LET'S FACE IT V6 ENGINES ARE SHIT! UTTER DISGUSTING UNRELIABLE PIECES OF SHIT! ONLY REAL ENGINES EVER PRODUCED ARE STRAIGHT SIX ,FLAT SIX AND V12! THE REST ARE "DETAILS"… AND DON'T YOU DARE BRING ME THE V16 "ISSUE"… HOW MANY OWN A V16 ENGINE'D CAR?
Wow. The VAG TFSI?? So many issues with using too much oil. The Golf GTI, Seat Leon's using 1 litre of oil between 500 and 1000 km's. Aside all the problems with the distribition/timing chain trough the whole TFSI range. Engine changes all trough the whole TFSI range, sometimes after just 5000 km's. It is actually one of the worst engines made by the VAG group. The 1.8 20VT EA113/827 is much better and capable of high power levels without issues. Also widely used trough the VAG group in the Golf GTI IV/Passat, Ibiza/Leon Cupra 1st gen, Audi A3/TT/A4 B6.
Second: U name the Alfa Romeo Busso V6 24V. It was first made with only two valves per cylinder. The 156, Spider and GTV got the 24V variant in the end of the 90's alongside the Lancia Kappa. It wasn't used outside Italian cars. The picture shown is the GM 3.2 V6 from the 159. So not the famous Busso engine. It wasn't a very good engine, it did okay, but definately one of the best sounding.
I would replace both engines as there are much more reliable engines availible. For example…
Volvo 2.5 5 cylinder with or without turbo. Amazing sound and super reliable. Enough examples with very high mileage.
Nissan RB25DET/RB26DETT/RB28DETT/RB30DETT and SR20DET which are closely related to eachother. Basicly the SR20 is an RB25 engine with two cylinders cut off. Amazing sound, and high power levels are easily possible as the engine is created for races. 600 horsepower with the standard block is easily possible without any reliabilty issues.
Crack head made this
Forgot nissan's RB's, SR's, VR's… Way better then K20 or any other Honda engine
Messa fink your Engrish not so good.
American Motors 6 cylinder rocks! the 289 v-8 was a classic also

Straight six!!
ecoboost has too many problems to be considered "best"
its time to move to electricity!! fuck all those petrol and diesel stinky dinosaurus !!
Mitsubishi 4g63 ???????????
USA Engine forget it.
Are you serious? over half these engines, in my personal experience, are problem prone.
Although not total junk, only about half the engines you mention would last for very long.
Nissan and Honda had several engines in the last 20 years that perform great and
are routinely driven over 200K miles with little more then a timing belt or chain replacement
and a water pump replacement. What about the VQ35 and 37? I have read in several
publications where those V6's were considered engineering works of art in the automotive
engine world and, if proper maintenance is done, will effortlessly run for over 200K miles.
GM LS series engine. The most horsepower for the least amount of money and very durable.
Ford hasn't made any engine that qualifies for this list
