To launch the Volkswagen up! there was no better way to get our target audience to experience the cars, than to bring the car to wherever they were. By partnering with Uber to offer free ‘test rides’ the campaign was able to generate 1290 test drives. Test riders cumulatively spent more than 508 hours in the car. Far more than could be expected from a traditional push to test drive.
