Saturn Sky or Pontiac Solstice High Pressure Fuel Pump replacement. In this video we remove and replace the high pressure fuel pump on a 2007 Saturn Sky Redline with a 2.0 Ecotec motor. This procedure would be the same for a Pontiac Solstice GXP or a Opel GT 2007-2009.
Erics 2007 Saturn Sky began throwing a P0087 trouble code indicating the car had low fuel pressure in the fuel rail. In this video we show step by step how to replace the high pressure fuel pump located on the right rear of the 2.0 ecotec engine. #saturnsky #pontiacsolstice #diy

Any advice on P0300 CEL? So far ive replaced all of the spark plugs with genuine AC Delco ones and gapped them to .028". Ive also replaced the coil packs with genuine Zz performance coils. Car has 64,000 miles on it. THANKS!!!!!
great video, I'm getting the 0087 & 89 codes, not sure yet if this is what I need to do for the 87 one. But if it is, this looks surprisingly easy for how poorly designed the Sky is. I had to watch a video on how to replace the battery lol 😐
Thank you for the video all the way from Texas Kappa Club
Seems pretty straightforward. I didn't realize that little schrader valve is all that's needed to release the pressure. Hopefully I won't need this anytime soon as my Sky only has 33k miles, but nice job. I'm down in Cedar City so it's nice to see other Utah guys. And yeah I don't like the noise of mine so I just ordered the upgraded insulator and this helps to see how that comes off. Should be pretty simple.
