You read it right… it’s break light because it breaks all the time!!! I replaced the third brake light on my 2003 Mercedes W211 E320. It’s something very simple to do and you can find OEM brake lights on Ebay or even your local junkyard.

It's a brake light. The tabs you pull off the liner have an center insert with hold them in place- remove that first then the tab- not both at once like you show.

Hi I replace the third brake light and still not working
What is the thickness of the silicone? I think mine is leaking.
Does it stand off on anyone else too ? Like the gasket on the new lens is too thick
