This was very helpful. Thanks. Word of warning: that plastic cover that you see at about 1:15 —do not let it fall inside of the wheel well. You will have to do a lot of work to get it back. And you can't live without it!
Excellent DIY! I've been getting an intermittent left low beam malfunction warning on my '11 E90 M3. Hoping it's just the bulb, Carly tells me that the bulb is dead so I'm hopeful.
Pulling out of AutoZone now with my replacement bulb. Wish me luck! 52 year old female who's never worked on a car is going to do this with your help. Screw the dealership who wanted $150. ☆☆☆

I have a 2011 328i and want to install LED conversation kit. I'm having issues with the silver clip doesn't want to click back in what do I do?

One tip for other viewers: you can see the latch clearly on how to open the cap after the bulb was replaced.
Which upgraded bulb did you use? The reason I ask is because I have a 2007 328i and I was going to replace my headlamp with the Phillips H7.
