Depends on the profesor. If he/she is abit crazy, just stay in class and do some positive stuff in the meanwhile.
Love watching your build .got a question did smoke come out both exhaust or one ?did it have a smell to it ? My 335 smokes out exhaust once and awhile took it to mechanic he said I have no turbo problem but it still smokes every so often .its starting to stress me out .
Here in Belgium if a professor is late for more than 15 minutes we can leave without any consequences

Most universities have a 15 min rule meaning if the professor is 15 min late the class is cancel, just double check your university class policy

I would check the oil pan gasket and oil filter housing gasket too see if they are leaking cause they’re common to leak oil just like the valve cover is
Bro dont even trip about the class. You did the right thing. If they dont show after 20 minutes it's on them and you're good to dip. At least that was the policy at my university so you're in the clear. The professor messed up not you so ur good my guy 🙂
Bro 15 min college rule. If the teacher isn’t there within the first 15 min…. everyone should leave lol that’s just a known college rule.
For future reference for two hour or more classes wait time is 30 minutes and if professor hasn't showed you can leave
For 1 hour classes wait time is 15 minutes .
