Coding the unit is simple. It’s probs coded to the logic7 audio which is why I doesn’t recognise your sound system

Strange, my 06 e90 330i with no idrive doesn't have the chiming sound. My friends 09 328i with no idrive does. I wonder when they started using it, or with what features.

YOU JUST NEED IT CODED from logic 7 to your system. This happens a lot. IF THE CCC WAS BAD IT WOULD STAY ON THE BMW LOGO!!!

Can code your ccc module remotely via TeamViewer. You just need dcan cable from ebay with software. And laptop.
