I replaced standard bulbs H7 55W in my card Skoda Fabia by OSRAM Cool Blue 55W. You can see that different is really small — where is blue effect? But it is still better than standard bulbs.

If its rainy cool blue are not usefull. I cant see anything when its raining. I prefeer standard bulbs or nightbreaker plus
If you want really "cool blue" effect, you can have it, but it doesn't have certification for riding on our czech roads 😉 …thats why these are "just white" (still more blue than standart bulbs). And more blue are not so good at anything… I'm for Osram night breaker + (its between white and little yelow, still the best results on couple cars — personal experience).
you should use Osram Cool Blue HYPER… they have 5000k and there is some blue & xenon effect.. but they have one problem.. ther are not allowed on public roads… but i have them in golf mk3 now for 1 year and i didn't have problems with cops so far..
but what about the illumination ?.. they only have 900 lumens whereas the original bulbs have 1500 lumens..
yes it's true.. but you can fix that problem… because you have h7 lights … and for ''short'' lights you can use cool blue hyper for nice xenon look and for ''long'' lights you can use for example osram nightbreaker… and it's perfect combinaton for me.. 🙂
yeah I thought the same but in the city I can't use high beam/long lights so I am limited to 900 lumens.. after a few foggy days in my city I realised how important the headlights are so I bought the Cool Blue Intense with 2500 lumens and 4200K light temperature.. it's a good compromise between Cool Blue Hyper White and the original ones.. too bad aftermarket xenon is forbidden here
No modrý moc nejsou no 🙂 Koupím spíš Night Breaker.
its a bit more white than original
OSERAM
Osram cool blue's color is like about 4200K which means it doesen't need to be white but a little bit yellow. I've got Osram cool blue hyper white and the colour is bright white (5000k) maybe a little bit blue. Maybe you had to read more information about the different bulbs before you buy them.
PPL, stop looking for these halogen crap. Go for the HID. Its not that expensive now. The difference is Night and Day. Also, when settle for the HID, choose 5000k. Its the best color and illumination combo. Never choose something above 6000k, as it only decreases the illumination and it's very hard to see during raining time.
Good video!
Try the brand "Ultra" if you want an attractive/UK legal blue/white look halogen bulb. I was impressed with them. They really do look like Xenons
Hmm, this is quite odd, isn't it? Thank you for the data.
Cool Blue ist not MORE light, it just seems to be a bit more "Xenon". It is just a "pimp" tool which only use is to be seen slightly better. Half lifetime, though.
Can you test it the Cool Blue HYPER?
Ну и сколько они у тебя проработали?
