GR Supra Racing Concept Highlights
Aero Package Features
For stunning performance through turns, the GR Supra Racing Concept uses an aerodynamic package developed by TOYOTA GAZOO Racing – the team behind Toyota’s 200-mph-plus, hybrid-tech Le Mans racers. The computer-designed and wind-tunnel-tuned front splitter, massive rear wing and diffuser literally suck the car to the asphalt, making for eye-watering cornering speeds. Extensive use of composite materials means the aero add-ons are lightweight, but incredibly strong.
Cabin Features
Inside the GR Supra Racing Concept’s carbon-fiber-lined cabin, it’s all business. If it isn’t built for performance or safety, it doesn’t get in. Period. The quick-release OMP steering wheel includes a state-of-the-art LED dash display and a paddle-shift system for lightning-fast gear shifts. The driver’s seat is designed for high-speed cornering, and a full roll cage, safety harness and fire extinguishers put safety front and center too.

t is a chick car…automatic tranny and fake vents.
This is all show and no go. 335hp is pretty low for a "sports car" by today's standards (Mustang and
Camaro), and no manual. No manual transmission is NOT fun because it's driving you with all the computer nannies, you're not driving it.
This is something a successful 50 year suburban woman who's kids have finally moved out of the house would buy.
Supra is not beautiful at all. Supra is short and stubby. It needs a nose job for that huge schnoz and
get rid of that hunchback, it's supposed to be a liftback. Hate fake vents, @t no flat bottom steering wheel
Weak at 335hp compared to other $55k competitors such as the Corvette C7 that's 100lbs lighter with 465hp and 1.13G cornering and 90ft stopping distance from 60-0mph, and you get a targa top to enjoy that exhaust note and more perception of speed, more importantly it has a manual transmission. Supra's top speed is 155mph versus Corvette's 195mph. Toyota's touch was a fuck up, it came from BMW with 380hp but came out of
Toyota as 335hp. Woulda been better to not touch it, Toyota.
If we wanted a BMW, we'd buy a BMW Z4, why would we bother buying through Toyota? Why deal with BMW unreliability and high parts/service prices?
Toyota dealers aren't going to have plentiful BMW tools, parts, etc. to service it.
If we wanted a BMW, why not just buy the BMW version and get BMW dealer luxury perks at service time instead of none at Toyota??
