2018 Audi A8 Interior, Exterior, and technology Production Full Review.
The new A8, first and foremost, is the only series production car to feature fully operational Level 3 Autonomous technology – which means the autonomous system, dubbed “Traffic Jam Pilot”, is capable of operating independently up to a speed of 60kph, and can steer, brake and accelerate past the more humdrum aspects of your commute. Unfortunately, the framework required to legalise and demonstrate such an advanced AI system is likely to arrive only next year. Until then we’ll just have to take Audi’s word that it’s as good as it says it is.
