Tesla already does well in this regard with its Model S saloon, with the P100D variant able to drive for up to 381 miles (officially). The problem, though, is that at £131,800 it’s also expensive, and therefore pitched against the Porsche Panamera Turbos and Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupés of this world.
