The video shows the electromechanical calculator Mercedes Euklid 27. The calculator has been a fully automatic calculator which was capable to multiply both from the left to the right and from the right to the left.
This line of Mercedes Euklid calculators has been produced in 30’s, but the design from the picture is much later, from the time of DDR at 50’s. It is interesting that this particular model in this later design is not mentioned in any book, catalog or sales brochure. Is this calculator a unique piece?
