Я надеюсь, что это видео поможет нескольким из вас, ребята, которые собираются бросить ту же самую балони, которую я собираюсь бросить. Это было честно не так сложно, как только вы получите эти 3 винта. Как только вы это сделаете, вы честно просто сохранили простой 1600 до уплаты налогов. Вы могли бы получить как 500 двойных двойников и мое домашнее место (IN N OUT).   2. o wash the coolant system I use a little degreaser of my work together with water. I left it until the thermostat opened. Then drain the entire system and add distilled water. I repeated the process with distilled water until it was clean. Then use coolant, and repeat as 2 more times. In total I think they were like 7 washes. Remember that if you change electric water pump also changes the thermostat. To change the thermostat removes the bar in front and you if you put under the car, it will be much easier. I'm telling you this not because I'm an expert in bmw but because I had to do it. Greetings and good luck.

    Bought it with the oil filter housing gasket in desperate need of replacement and just haven't found the spare time to do it.
    Lets see if i can do it in under 5 hours XD

  4. I guess u need to spend money on lighting since I work some nights on the car , just for your video purposes so the viewer won't turn off the video before they get irritated cause they can't see the video properly since I have e90 as well that's why I watch your video

  5. Ofc you are going to strip those bolts if you use hex socket on torx bolt :). Right socket for that job is E10. Get a good set of torx sockets if you are going to work with your bmw… you will need those alot 🙂

  6. Did you have external leakage? BMW sent me an email saying that at my last oil change the noticed the gasket was bad, along with a few other things (I'll have a video about it tomorrow), my gasket looks fine no visible signs of leakage. Since I am already going to be removing the manifold I figured that would be a good time to change it anyway. I'm just wondering if they are trying to scam me and don't realize I can turn a wrench.

  7. you should have used a e10 socket and a e10 ratcheting wrench. No need to have removed the hose.  Break cleaner would have cleaned with no hesitation.

  8. As far as I know those use bolts with a torx head you need a torx socket i bought a set in autozone a lot of foreign cars use them, i had to buy it for my friends volvo to remove the abs module so it could be sent out and rebuilt, they are marked with the letter E as in E 10 and resemble a star inside, a regular socket will do exactly what was done here it will ruin the head, oh and use brake clean to clean out where the gasket seats it's a lot more thorough and easier and then for good measure spray it with compressed air, that's what I do anyway.

Didnt see you drain any oil…or coolant….remove engine cover..remove air induction box…just loosen bolts on intake manifold enough to slide over to get to the bolt….clean area with soft brillo..use a little gasket maker so it will seal properly to a clean surface..depending on the engine head coolant hose inspect it for damage and replace it..or the rubber seal on it…replace aluminum bolts because they strip and stretch….clean around manifold and engine bay when putting everything back together…top off your fluids….also use proper lighting next time. and make sure you torque bolts to spec.

Who quoted you 1600$ for this go kill them 500tops its 1 or 2 of labor my bmw dealership which i dont go to charges 165$ a hour and the gasket is 30$ tops only thing i go there for is oil changes its 99 bucks for me to do it iys would cost 60 70 and the check the car out so its worth it to me plus im not putting 7 quarts of waste oil in my bimmer lol

  11. Nice video bro! Is it N52? I have the N54 and it seems like I have to pull out the intake manifold to take out that screw. Please let me know if that's not the case. Btw, what's the best way to clean the oil leak from there? The front and bottom of my engine has lots of oil from that leak :(.

  12. Man, that damn bolt is so stupid! The head got damaged when I was unscrewing and it's still not loosen at all. Any ideas how to get it out?

  13. You didn't have to remove that radiator hose, you could of just picked up the oil filter housing itself off of the block of the engine when you got the other bolts loose to gain more clearance when it does touch the radiator hose.

    Did you bleed the coolant? Is it necessary?

  16. Just remove alternator..use an e10 wrench on bolt under manifold…easy work..alt bolts are 1 time use …ive done a few now..easy fast job.
    T12 for alternator and t60 for tensioner..simple stuff..use a drain pan for any spills

  17. You have absolutely no idea put those tools down fool. If your going to do this sort of video get your mechanical terms right
