Have you ever considered actual model building, or is it too much glue & paint to deal with? I know it's not everyone's cup of tea. I have the AMT 1/200 "Man in Space" collection which includes every manned launch system used by NASA except the Shuttle, and there are several 1/200 kits available. Watching you gives me some motivation to dig it out. 🙂
The more Lego kits you build the more you will come to learn that there is NO organization to which parts are in which bags. You would think if they were going to bag them in multiple bags you would bag them based on build order but no, there is no rhyme or reason to it.
Also, Amy, if you ever want to set up a multi camera live stream configuration with a foot switch to switch between cameras let me know. I can help with that.

My favorite Canadian export to space is Canadarm 1, the Shuttle Remote Manipulator System (SRMS). Canadarm 2 can be found on the ISS.

Another awesome review. Nice one Amy. For suggestions on episodes how about some bio vids of the space pioneers and luminaries. People who don't get the coverage they deserve. Like Gene Krantz. You should build an Estes rocket and launch it in a future episode! We once tried to launch a Gemini Titan with 2 engine cluster. Only one of the engines ignited so I think you can imagine how that flight went!

Not sure what I think about this type of product. It is good to highlight women are just the same in the science and engineering as well. But does this belittle them, does it make is say "oh wow women, in engineering, how odd!"? These women are not the exception, they shouldn't be made out to be special. They are good engineers and scientists doing what they are good at, just the same as men.
Does making out these female engineers and scientist are unusual or exception, put off more girls going into the STEM areas as adults? I do hope in the future that everyone can go into any career without any form of stigmatisation.
I was a little hesitant committing to this comment, I hope noone feels offended by this.
P.S I think Amy is great, she presents the history of space flight wonderfully, I wish I could remember all these facts.

I don't really understand the fascination with these lego kits. back in the 60s I did however build several Lems out of yogurt containers cardboard and cocktail sticks, and I seem to remember making lunar landscapes out of plaster of paris and news paper. sure I rode ponies too but I knew of at least one other space mad girl in our town, it was kind of impressive growing up then to say the least!
