  1. Nice rundown for the kit Chris, looks ok with the sprues and hope to see a build series for it.

  2. You should have the hud open with some copper wires added. And it would look perfect!Great review too.

  3. That looks like a nice kit Chris the detail and parts look really good can't wait to see it come together take care my friend

  4. Could get riveting as it progresses. Nice review.

  5. I think the 2 white balls on vertical arms coming off the front bumper are for the driver's benefit, to know the width of the vehicle.

  6. I really appreciate the in-depth review of this kit, I will be adding to my build list, has I love building all types of trucks. Looking forward to watching you guys build it.  I built a few Italeri vehicles, one thing you have to be careful with, it you square-up the chassis, or the whole build will come out crooked. (Although I see this kit, has a one piece chassis.) so you can disregard that comment LOL.

  7. Good review Chris. Keen to see how you find the build mate

  8. you will have a FUN time doing this model .

  9. Looks like it'll be a interesting build mate lots of different materials like wood, metal and canvas to paint up and weather 🙂

  10. Good review Chris.  Seen this kit around for ages now, good to see inside the box.  I've built a couple of Italeri kits and haven't had too much trouble, nothing you couldn't handle anyway.  I'm going to build there Panzerwerfer 42 next i'll let you know how it goes.

  11. Here's a link to a pic of the Tamiya/AFV kit instructions featuring the load-outs, that looks a lot like this kit. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10029772z7/70/7
Views of a troop carrier version & a cargo version. I can't believe the lack of pictures for what was one of the German main trucks — not as glamorous as a tank I guess, lol!

  12. Chris, Quite different molding techniques there. Straight out of the box, light or heavy mods? I think if you do a straight out of box, no one will complain. But what fun you can have working your weathering magic. A how to vid? Nice looking kit, wood effect looks good, decent detail through out. Should be a good build. — Bob

  13. not a bad looking kit for Italeri Chris….., one lamp is closed off with a slit to dim the lights and the other is a full lamp, i'd paint it in tank grey mate the call out from italeri is wrong or i am lol but i'd use Vallejo 70955 or Tamiya German grey 🙂 good vid bud look forward to the next instalment 🙂
