have you got stock exhausts?
Sounds like you’re just jealous, the m3 is literally better in every single aspect
tf r u doing with the shifter when u stop
good points in your video
Love E92 M3
And why you should have bought an F80
Nice video, I've had M3 E46, 535D E60, 330CI E46, 335I and Subaru WRX STI, and over the course of owning these cars I had to drive them totally differently with different skills, for instance, WRX STI was AWD whereas other Bimmers were RWD and that totally gave me different experience, they're totally incomparable and out of all of them I enjoyed the WRX STI and M3 E46. Absolutely enjoyed driving them every day to work and I now totally regret I sold them all, but again I needed the money and couldn't really do much. If you are obviously after performance and fuel economy then you better stay away from all of these cars even 530D and 535D as they only return you about 30~35MPG but you're buying diesel over petrol which is 10p more expensive, so at the end of the day they all work out the same.
Thanks
Have you told your insurance about your tune?
i hear what you're saying but for me the 335i just seems like a regular e46 , it hasnt got the wow factor the m3 has. Straight line speed is great but what happens when you hit some winding counry roads, performace has to include how a car handles the twisties plus the sound of that v8 roar is epic. Above 60 the v8 will leave the 335i because of all that extra power.I will be honest though, i have never driven the 335i.
Are you sure it’s in first gear there bud?
You sound like your trying to convince yourself why you didn't buy the M3…..Though I've got a 2004 330ci because I prefer the shape..Sorry can't afford an e92 ..we all get it.. M tax is real
So the 335 has that lovely quality German engineering and therefore it’s better and more reliable than the m3.
No disrespect but this video probably should’ve been kept to the opinion oriented stuff, your take on the value and objectively undeniable things like the price etc. youtube is already oversaturated with technical analysis by people that don’t have any business doing so.
sick free free five eye bruv
If you live in London I wouldn’t bother, live in the country and then it makes perfect sense, either this or the M3. Personally I’d think hanging onto the M3 would make sense as it will become a future classic
Its that same thing as owning a pair of Jordans or owning a pair of team Jordans. One is the real deal, you can feel the quality and those who know…really know. The other is looking the part on a budget. Not knocking it, but we all know we want the real deal Holyfield. People use budget and cost for performance to justify a decision they were forced to make. FYI ive owned both, 335 first (as it should be), and 2011 M3 second and currently n forever.
Completely missed the point of what an M3 is about. The fact you have to tune it to make it more powerful makes your points invalid. You compare standard for standard. A Punto could be quicker than a veyron with enough tuning, and probably cheaper. An M3 has prestige, looks, a proper sports car.
Whats the max mileage i should look for if i wanted to get one of these, heard alot of diff answers lool
You bought the 335i because you couldn't afford the m3 if you say otherwise you're lying to yourself.
why you should not buy M3? because you can't afford it
I dunnoe why u keep playing with the shifter.
Nice video i live in belguim en insurance and tax just for putting it on the road.. cost around 10.000 euro and 4000 euro every year so a tuned 335i would be a Nice way around that! And also a manuel i hate automatic gearboxes … even with flappy padles
also the 335i is going to be worthless in 10 years but the m3 will retain more value
All the advantages you speak of is the same as a toyota prius. Yes, I love BMW's, but I get all that and a bag of chips from what you describe from my prius. LOL…. Na, just kidding, good video, appreciated. I too drool over M3's and thought about just getting a 335i. (yes and trade in my prius), but the sensible side of me says, Meh, the stereos good enough, and I get from point A to B better than anyone else. (of course without racing them between lights)
