How to remove your window switches / mirror switch / trunk switch on a Mercedes-Benz W210 E-class. This procedure should be identical for the 1996 and 1997 model years. This design was probably used in most mid — late 90’s Mercedes vehicles such as the R129 SL class, W140 S class, and W123 E class to name a few.
NOTE: If your switches are not working, try to clean the circuit board with electronic contact cleaner and a Q-tip first. Fluids that spilled on the center console could prevent a good electronic connection. As mentioned in the video, all the switches are on one circuit board and will come out together.
