The Audi S4 is a nice car, don’t get me wrong, but I definitely prefer BMW to Audi. In this Forza 4 race, it’s Audi vs. BMW at Sedona Raceway. I’m driving a 1 series M coupe.
The nice thing about the 1 series is that it has almost the same wheelbase as my Veloster, and is only a little narrower. I would not mind having a 135i for variety, if I was in the habit of throwing money around. In my head, I’m subtracting the $23,500 + tax that I paid for the Veloster Turbo (MSRP) from the cost of a tricked-out Tesla Model S like so many other kids at Google are buying these days. 🙂
I could seriously pick up a BMW 135i plus pay the cost of all the gasoline to power it, on top of the new Hyundai and still come out ahead compared to buying a Tesla plus electricity. Even cheaper if I bought a certified pre-owned BMW 135i from 2011 for around $26,000, not much more than the Veloster Turbo.
