I understand why they should seemingly be compared, to the naive, and uninformed, the RS is a sport hatchback, however, in every sense outside of an AWD turbo hatch, there is nothing to compare here. The Audi is miles ahead in every aspect. Nonetheless, the RS, for the money, will be a fun car for a bit.
Invest the price diff into focus and then you will kick audi's ass easily + you will still have advantage of manual transmission. Although Ford's interior is not as good as audi's..

These are hot hatches. The only test is a twisty back road and the Ford would disappear as the Audi understeered into a ditch.
Rs is to heavy. 1600kg for a manual hot hatch. My Golf r with 50 brake less is just as quick. Yes it's a manual and has a milltek. No map.
As usual: Ford = piece of sht. They just don't know how to build cars. Especially not without Shelby.
