Ford Endeavour 2016 competes with the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, and others. In September 2016, Ford India had silently slashed the prices of it by up to Rs 2.82 lakh. However, the price drop was only seen in the Trend trims, while the Titanium variants remained unchanged. It comes with two diesel engine options – a five-cylinder 3.2-litre motor (200PS/470Nm) and a four-cylinder 2.2-litre engine (160PS/385Nm). The 2.2-litre comes with an option of a six-speed manual or automatic, while the 3.2-litre is solely available with the six-speed automatic.
Now, Ford has updated the infotainment system of the Endeavour from SYNC 2 to SYNC 3. SYNC 3 is Ford’s latest infotainment system and offers support for both Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto. SYNC 3 will only be offered with the top-end Titanium trims (Trend will be offered with the existing SYNC 2 unit).
