Nice
Newfangled widgetry — somebody cast the devils from it
It is too long and complex video; nice effort to explain the content though.
Old but gold
thanks
this is the best video I have ever seen I have a class on DC machines and DC Motors and with this 30 min video I learned more and more than 3 months we spent in the class
What about the gauge of the wire, wouldn't that affect it as much as the length?
according to my physics ib textbook the direction of the magnetic field around the current is clockwise away from you and anticlockwise towards you 19:32 states the opposite so which one is right?
Best of all videos available on this topic, very well illustrated. Thanks for such a nice thing, very helpful
Nije točno. to su sve gluposti.
It is ture, the cause of stupidity.
Old school is the best school i have worked with some old timer and i learn so much with them
GOOD VIDEO!
It blows my mind the dumbing down of the world. We have modern CGI, yet these old videos from the past explain everything so much better.
Could be wrong, but in the beginning, is the current he shows in rotating spool the literal movement of the electrons. If we work with the positive convention it would go around the other way?
So with the sparking issue of commutators. Why not just make the brushes where they can actively vary their position? A small solenoid or some centrifugal driven system would take care of this. This would reduce the need for adding extra magnets thus decreasing cost and weight and reduce the need for manually changing the brush position.
I really like this because it is simple and straight foward with information, but also because it reminds me of fallout
Thanks
How many people from SAIT are watching this?
I don't remember seeing this in K-12. Was I not paying attention or did standard oil not want the population to understand this?
At 19:25 the current direction , conductor direction and what you explaind about the direction all are different.
Guys with crewcut hair, slide rules, mechanical pencils clipped into the pocket protectors of white short-sleeved shirts and skinny ties got America to the moon and back.
What the hell happened??
OlD School is the best way of learning
Thank you. This taught me allot.
A dignified and mature presentation for a dignified and mature time period. Not just an educational video. It's presents the message with a certain empowerment to the viewing audience, as if to say, "this is your inheritance passed to you by your ancestors. Recognize it for what it is. Don't be an ingrate." The technological achievements that arose from compounded efforts of the white race over thousands of years. Their cunning craftiness. Their nations. Their inheritance. Look at how clean, orderly and respectful the narrator articulates himself compared to "educational videos" of contemporary academia. Nowadays the actors would've been scummy smug "hip" young people with naive expressions on their ungrateful snot-nosed faces and the narrator would've almost implied a perpetual immature adolescent sense of retardant entitlement.
Lol lol he can change the wire, that was instead easy, he turned the battery lull
114 people disliked are from guardian of galaxy
Nice how old fashioned
I was wondering just when this would turn into a Vault-Tec ad :O
Great stuff … from a time when value was put on accuracy and clarity of understanding …
In 17:05 i'm confused with the graph. How does it tell that the shunt generator has better voltage but poor current graphically? Can someone please explain. Thanks in advance.
Absolutely disgusting just what is being said here.
The mention of military equipment at the start should have been a clue in for generations to come.
Wooowww it's very helpful…..
you mean if i have a knowledge of dc motor and generator i can fly in the sky
