Chris I know it’s a 70 beetle, but do you lose some of your ambition and enthusiasm because it’s not an older bug?
Chris, I know I have asked in the past and you have told me you contract out the work on the convertible tops. Any chance you would consider getting some footage of the top restoration? Please #beg. I have a 65' to do and it is hard to find good footage of a top resto. Thank you for all the videos!
Also, with the floors, heater channels and support rails so bad, did you have to weld in some supporting angle iron when you separated the body and pan?
I cannot wait to see how this turns out. Please document as much as you can. I have a 1970 saloon 1300 — in Europe we didn't have that horrible black plastic dash, but I do like the unique tombstone brake lights from this inbetweener bug. Will that be a whole new floor?

My 65 looked good until I started to tear it down. Turned into a money pit that may never get done lol.

Hey Chris, I have a question for you, I'm interested in buying a new trunk liner for my 1971 super beetle, I see that there are some holes in front of the gas tank and on your video I see screws on the fresh air box, where can I get the clips and are the screws on the fresh air box supposed to be on my bug?
