This is an unbelievably rare phone. One of two models of StarTACs that work in the United States on the GSM network. The other is the 7000g which is the next video in this series. It’s from 1996 and uses a credit-card SIM instead of the postage-stamp SIMs we use now a days. Credit-card SIMs were only used for a couple years in the U.S. From 1995-1996.

1900. All GSM phones in N/S America made before 2000 or so had only that frequency.
I had this phone in Russia, but unforunately 4 me, it got broken 🙁
