In this week’s video: I attempt to take the Mini Cooper to Carmax in Reno, NV to find myself…essentially neglected as a person,and customer! I then take the car to the Carmax in Roseville, CA where they offer me an insultingly low offer. Apparently Carmax doesn’t aim to (re)gain customer business, even given A SECOND CHANCE. OMG! Look what you are trying sell! A late model Mini! The high cost of ownership severely limits the audience that would be interested in owning that car. Not to mention it is a manual transmission. NO ONE wants a manual transmission. When you arrive at Carmax, you should have been greeted immediately. If there weren't any sales associates available, due to being with customers, you would have been added to a wait list, offered coffee, and asked to wait in the lobby, until a rep became available. The business office associates do not enter appraisals or present appraisals.
