In tribute to the recent (appalling) weather we’ve been having, you’ll notice that a few of the shots in our latest video are made of the white stuff.
Take the gritty race shots at the Ferdinand Ice Festival 2013, for instance, with super fast cars drifting around the track with a low-setting sun gleaming off the track.
Also ice to see is the recovery truck drift Zandvoort clip, with a recovery vehicle (complete with car attached to its back) powering around an obstacle course in only the worst conditions.
Then a helicopter crashes by the side of the road and a dog drives a toy tractor… what?
Thankfully that’s where our snow puns end for now, as our attention turns to an amazing video of a dog driving a toy tractor to the local park — completely unaided!
But that’s nothing compared to the shocking clip of a stunning — and very real — helicopter crash that happened recently while the Korean version of Top Gear was being filmed. Luckily the pilots were unhurt (so we can watch without feeling guilty!).
Those are just a handful of our favourite featured vids this week. Others include an amazing clip of the ‘Zero F**ks Given’ car — a tuned RX7 that looks like it’s spluttered straight from the scrapheap.
Also viewable is an impressive set of stunt skills from a Car Acrobatics event, with a car reversing on its front wheels and spinning in the tightest circle we’ve seen until sparks fly.
And we couldn’t sign off without including a BMW M5 illegal street racing clip now, could we? Trust us, it makes Skyfall look like Octopussy…
